Nothing that a psychic sees is "set in stone." You always have the power to change your future.
Will you tell me when I’m going to die?
Absolutely not. You will make innumerable choices in your lifetime, all of which could lead you in new directions. How would it serve you to have this type of information implanted in your memory? It would not. My purpose is to help empower you, not program you or frighten you. I don’t even tune in to that kind of information.
How do you know you aren’t communicating with a negative spirit?
Because I can see and hear them, and because I also have Spirit Guides of my own that I know and trust, I have developed an identification/verification system for all spirits who approach me. I have also found that if I ask a spirit if it is from "the Light" and it is not, it will simply disappear. In my experience, there seems to be a universal law in which spirits are unable to lie when confronted directly.
Can you contact my loved one who has crossed over?
Usually I can, but sometimes (rarely) I am told an individual is "not available" and I honor that. Sometimes I’m told they are "busy" while other times I am not given a reason. Typically I can arrange the communication in advance - when we schedule our session.
Can you tell me if I should get a divorce/quit my job/move to another state?
First of all, I will never "should" on you! My intent is to guide you toward your highest good within the situations you have created/are creating. We are multi-faceted beings with many choices and opportunities. To answer "yes" or "no" would not serve to empower you. Our lives are not that "black and white."
To be our true, empowered selves, we must not allow anyone to tell us what to do. Part of my life’s mission is to help people move away from their egos and toward their true selves.
If you are seeking a reader that will tell you what to do or who to blame for your unhappiness, then I suggest you look elsewhere. If you want to feel happy and in charge of your life, let’s talk!
How does it feel to be hypnotized?
It feels great! You just feel as if you are relaxing in a very comfortable space with your eyes closed. Hypnosis is a natural state that feels similar to the feeling you get right before you fall asleep at night. When you emerge, you feel refreshed and revitalized.
You are aware of everything going on around you - the sound of my voice, the sounds in the room, and the sounds outside the room. At the same time, you are aware of what your subconscious is revealing to you.
How do you put people into hypnosis?
By speaking in a soothing tone, and using various techniques such as mental imagery and deep breathing to induce a pleasant, relaxed state.
Is hypnosis "mind control?"
Not at all. No one under hypnosis can be induced to do anything against his or her will. Whatever moral and ethical codes you hold in a normal waking state will still be in place under hypnosis. Your subconscious mind was formed when you were about age five. Its job is to protect and help you. Just like you cannot be made to do anything against your moral code, you will not say anything that is embarrassing and will not reveal more than you are comfortable doing. You are in complete control at all times. Hypnosis is a gentle, loving process, and Hypnotherapists are trained to not judge. You will create change in your own timing.
What about the stage hypnotists that make people do strange and silly things?
We've all seen or heard about those stage shows--we all have expectations about what happens in them. If you have never been formally hypnotized before, you may be expecting something dramatic. Does anyone really think that if they volunteer to go on stage that the hypnotist will suggest they do something intelligent? Anyone who volunteers is agreeing to play the part, whether they consciously admit it or not. For some, hypnosis (like alcohol) is a convenient "excuse" to act out and not take responsibility for their behavior.
How much will I remember?
You will remember everything you need to remember. Each person's experience is unique. Most people receive a great deal of information and it may take days, weeks or months to really process. You may wish to write your experience down as soon as possible. As with any experience, it's not unusual to lose the subtler details with the passage of time, and some of the patterns you uncover may not "click" into place until much later.
How deep will I go?
Depth is dependent on the individual. One who meditates regularly, or has regular hypnosis sessions may go into a deeper state more quickly. The subconscious mind will hear the information regardless of the depth. Many people do not realize they were in a deep state at all.
How do I know if I can be hypnotized?
Everyone can be hypnotized but one has to be willing to do it. All hypnosis is self-hypnosis, which means if you want to do it, you will. The very small minority of people who have difficulty in a session are usually those who are resisting it.
How can I tell if I'm hypnotized?
Many of us experience a "trance-like" state while listening to some good music on the radio, reading a gripping novel, or while watching TV. It may feel so natural that you won’t realize you are under hypnosis.
Can I "get stuck"?
Absolutely not. Again, hypnosis is a very natural and normal state and cannot hold anyone against his or her will. If you were to go so deep as to enter a truly unconscious state (a very rare occurrence), you would simply go into natural sleep and awaken when you are rested. It is impossible for anyone to be "left" or "lost" in hypnosis. If the Hypnotherapist were to leave before bringing you back, you would eventually realize that the session had ended and would awaken on your own. During the session, if there were an emergency, or if you no longer wish to participate, you could easily awaken yourself at any time and simply stop.
What's the difference between self-hypnosis, guided imagery, creative visualization or meditation?
Not much difference at all. They are all procedures to relax the body and focus the mind.
How quickly will I experience results from hypnosis?
It will depend on how quickly you want to see results. Same is true with just about anything. If your motivation and commitment level is HIGH, you'll likely experience results right away or very quickly. Other factors that determine your success can include your comfort-level with the Hypnotherapist, as well as the regularity of your sessions. Hypnosis is NOT a magic pill. If you are expecting to be "put under" and awaken never wanting to eat chocolate again, you may be disappointed. On the other hand many people are able to quit smoking after one session. These people are highly motivated and committed.
What about my spiritual or religious beliefs?
Hypnosis honors all expressions of spirituality, and can help you release your judgments, particularly about yourself. Hypnosis can help you learn to consciously manifest when you want to experience, rather than reacting to events in your life that you don't want.
Can hypnosis hurt me?
In over two hundred years of recorded hypnosis history, there is no documented case of anyone being hurt with hypnosis. Hypnosis can only be used in a positive way. If anyone tries to give you suggestions against your morals, religious beliefs or anything you feel strongly about, you could instantly emerge from the state of relaxation on your own.
Can hypnosis help me?
Every issue in your life is connected with your thoughts and emotions. Therefore any issue can be addressed and improved through hypnosis. It cannot have a negative effect.
Generally, there is a positive effect from hypnosis. Changing your behaviors and old patterns, learning new information, and connecting with your inner wisdom changes how you perceive yourself and others. You can let go of old hurts and anger so it no longer affects you physically and emotionally. Your subconscious mind holds your keys to health, happiness and self-empowerment!
Will I be able to see my past lives [in a past life regression]?
I cannot guarantee that you will be able to "see" a past life under hypnosis, especially if you are new to the process - or anxious, but many people do. I recommend that you have a few successful hypnosis sessions (or be a regular meditator who experiences visions) before exploring past lives.
Are you going to tell me if you see something bad?
First of all, to see something "bad" would be to judge, and I believe that there is opportunity in everything that happens in our lives. Therefore, I may alert you to a possible undesirable outcome so you may change it in advance or see it in a positive light if it does occur.
