Burning Question - August 2010
Q. My son suffers from chronic alcholism. He maintains that there is nothing wrong with him. What can I say or do to help him overcome this destructive behavior?
A. "I would first say that it is important for you to understand the dynamic happening here - it's embedded in your question. It is a need for you to be right and for you to control your son. The labels given are contrary to the actual issue. He believes there is nothing wrong with him, and he is correct, until he chooses to believe something else. What you view as 'destructive' may be the only way he knows how to operate at the present time. While I am not saying that his behavior is not 'destructive', I am saying that it is practically impossible to get someone else to believe something. You care very much about your son, of course, but attempts to control him will be futile. If you allow space for him to come to his own understanding, it will remove the resistance and perhaps he will choose to see things differently. If not, it is important to honor his free will. When you do this, you may experience a shift or change in his behavior far sooner than you may have ever imagined. If not, then you must trust Divine order.
Most importantly for you, I recommend that you let go of the emotional attachment to this issue. It will not help him, and will only harm you. Remember that you can only control what you think, and therefore how you feel. Blame must be eliminated. Guilt must be eliminated. Love you. Respect you. Love him. Respect him."

Burning Question - September 2010
Q.Is there a Heaven?
A. "We would like to answer this question as we are creators of the Universe. To answer the question, first we must help you to realize that 'heaven' is terminology. It is not fact. But we can see into the mind of the one who posed this question and we can read their own definition of it. We will answer the question, however to include all definitions.
'Heaven' is widely known in your society, and currently as a 'promised land' or another plane of existence where all is perfect and positive. Some refer to this as 'the other side.' Although we would like to clarify that 'the other side' - or where you go when you die - may be the plane where duality still exists.
You have two choices at the moment of your death. You may remain in the astral plane [fourth dimension] or you may 'go into the Light' or the portal that is provided for you which leads to the higher planes. In these higher planes (5th dimension and beyond), you land where you are meant to land based on all of your lifetimes. So perhaps you are now at an eighth dimensional level (your Soul, that is), and you may land into the eighth dimension or the ninth. You see?
So we suppose we are answering the question 'yes.' There is a place where no negative energies exist. Humans have the opportunity to land there following their physical death. 'Heaven', however, is more complicated that most think of it to be, but certainly could be described as 'heavenly' compared to duality on your Earth plane."
